Accessibility Statement
Last updated
We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, or need larger text. This statement says what we are aiming at, what is already there, and what we know is not.
1.What we are aiming at
We build this site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.1, at level AA. We have not completed a formal audit against them, so we do not claim conformance. We are describing a target we work to and measure ourselves against, not a certification.
2.What we have built
Across the site:
- Pages are built from real headings, lists, and landmarks, so a screen reader can move through them by structure
- Everything that can be done with a mouse can be done with a keyboard, and the focused element is always visible
- Images carry alternative text, and decorative images are marked so they are skipped rather than read out
- Text and interface colors are chosen to meet the contrast ratios in the guidelines
- Animation is disabled when your system is set to reduce motion, including the scroll reveals, the counters, and the moving diagrams
- Text can be resized and the layout reflows down to a phone-width screen without a horizontal scroll
- Form fields have labels, and an error is announced rather than only shown
3.Where we know the site falls short
We would rather name these than imply they do not exist:
- Our contact forms can be supplied by HubSpot, and we do not control that markup. If a form is difficult to use, email us instead and nothing is lost by doing so — the address is below.
- Some pages use background video and detailed technical illustrations. The illustrations carry information that is not yet fully available as text.
- Documents in our evidence library are PDFs, some of them produced by other organizations. A supplied PDF is often not tagged for a screen reader. Ask us and we will provide the content another way.
- We have not tested the site with every combination of browser and assistive technology in use.
4.Tell us about a barrier
If anything here is difficult or impossible for you to use, we want to know, and we will help you get what you came for in the meantime. Write to legal@fluxergy.com. It helps if you can tell us the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what browser or assistive technology you were using — but please write to us even if you cannot.
We aim to reply within five business days, and we will tell you what we are going to do about it and roughly when.
5.How this statement is kept up to date
We review this statement when we make substantial changes to the site, and at least once a year. The date at the top is the date of the last review. Our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy apply to this page as they do to the rest of the site.
