Making laboratory testing more accessible

We create lower-cost consumables that can test multiple health parameters at the same time.

Who we Are

In places without healthcare infrastructure, patient follow-up is infrequent so the initial consult and having the correct information for a healthcare provider to make a decision is critical. Further, a majority of illnesses and diseases have treatment algorithms that require not only a PCR result, but potentially a measurement of the host response and general health of the patient. This is why multiomics and multimodal testing is a key driver in the platform solution that Fluxergy is developing.

Our goal is to provide as much diagnostic health information as possible per test that can be leveraged during the initial consult to expedite diagnosis and treatment. By decentralizing data collection via deployable platforms in community-based settings, we can aggregate more data at the population level to drive clinical decision making.

Fluxergy was created 10 years ago by Ryan Revilla and Tej Patel developing a working prototype analyzer and microfluidic cartridge system for HIV-1 testing out of their garage and apartment. Since Fluxergy has started, we have grown from a team of three in a garage to 100+ collaborating employees at Fluxergy’s technology and manufacturing campus totaling 90,000 sq. ft, cGMP-compliant and ISO/MDSAP certified and European offices. Fluxergy is expanding its technology to anywhere that lab testing can be better served including animal health, food safety, and forensics industries.

The platform technology we’ve developed enables us to understand our world and our health in ways which were never possible before.

Fluxergy’s core guiding principles

Scalability

All the technologies we build are scalable and accessible. Reducing price barriers and democratizing laboratory testing is key to our future.

Modularity

Our dream is to have every lab test you can imagine on a chip the size of your hand.

Connectivity

Doing more tests faster gives us the data we need, when we need it.

Our Mission

Information is empowering, especially when it comes to health and wellness. Better tools for collecting information for the diagnosis of illness and disease can help caregivers and patients make better point-of-care decisions.

Our mission is to help create a future where access to better tools for fast, accurate, and reliable biological metrics is commonplace and affordable, everywhere.

Our Values

We believe in the power of innovation and creativity to produce impactful solutions for the challenges of sustaining a healthy planet. We believe that the democratization of access to timely and precise biological data will empower a holistic approach to OneHealth global care.

And, we believe we are all in this together. When we collaborate and share openly, the world is a better place.

Our purpose

The Fluxergy Analyzer platform combines the capabilities of many machines into one multimodal system, delivering more affordable laboratory-quality test results and actionable metrics in 60 minutes or less.

We will deliver fast, accurate, and reliable information on the spot – better data leads to better choices.

We’re making our platform accessible through a collaborative model which will enable us to provide a diverse portfolio of assays designed to meet the needs of communities and markets around the world.

We invite you to join us as a contributor to this effort.
